Selain daripada program asasi di Universiti Islam sendiri, lepasan SPM juga boleh memasuki satu lagi institut Tahfiz iaitu Darul Quran bagi menjamin tempat ke program asasi di Universiti ini mahupun terus menyambung pengajian di luar negara ( Timur Tengah kebiasaanya, seperti Universiti Al- Azhar) jika memperoleh keputusan yang cemerlang.
Darul Quran ini adalah satu institut Tahfiz yg berdaftar di bawah Jabatan Kemajuan Islam Malaysia (JAKIM). Pelajar yang memerlukan akan memperoleh biasiswa daripada JAKIM bagi membiayai kos pembelajaran. Program - program yang ditawarkan adalah dalam bentuk diploma dan Sijil. Program Matrikulasi
Program Matrikulasi merupakan satu program persediaan bagi pelajar bumiputera untuk melayakkan mereka melanjutkan pelajaran ke peringkat ijazah pertama dalam bidang sains, teknologi dan perakaunan selepas tamat pengajian di Sekolah Berasrama Penuh (SBP) dan Maktab Rendah Sains Mara (MRSM). Sebelum ini program matrikulasi telah dikendalikan oleh beberapa Institusi Pengajian Tinggi Awam (IPTA) lebih 30 tahun yang lalu dengan cara dan corak pelaksanaan yang berbeza. Hasil dari program ini telah melahirkan banyak cendekiawan dan tenaga mahir bumiputera dalam bidang profesional.
